Feedback needed on cross-platform Data API

At the moment we are covering stocks, ETF's etc. listed on NYSE, NASDAQ, and AMEX, but in future we will be looking at providing data for other markets and instrument types.

Feedback needed on cross-platform Data API

FuturePrice is a privately funded company, but two of our key people are ex Deutsche Bank (algorithmic trading, asset management). Yes, it's written in C#. Our focus for now is on the Data API, but we have a complete Silverlight trading platform in the works. Our current Silverlight...

    Looking for platform independent API

The FuturePrice Data API provides data via NYX SuperFeed (MAMA/MAMDA, Wombat). It is now available on Linux. I have posted a request for feedback to the programming forum - I am adding the essentials of that post here, but if you have any feedback or comments please respond to the main thread...

Feedback needed on cross-platform Data API

The FuturePrice Data API is now available on Linux. We have provided an "API Basics" video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVQmpaHH6HA&feature=player_embedded and a 2-minute Linux Quickstart here...

    Looking for platform independent API

Unfortunately we cannot do that. We use proprietary compression algorithms to enable us to stream all market data (full-market streaming feeds) across standard Internet lines, and similarly we have application layer networking protocols built on top of TCP-IP to deal with error detection and...

    Looking for platform independent API

    Looking for platform independent API

Some of us are ex Deutsche Bank (algorithmic trading), but FuturePrice itself is a privately funded company. I am looking into it. I will keep you posted.

    Looking for platform independent API

It's pretty solid. Most of our users connect before market open and disconnect after market close. Always a pleasure dealing with hacks :) although we are aiming to provide an API accessible to programmers of (pretty much) all skill levels. For people like yourself it does offer advanced...

    Looking for platform independent API

You may want to take a look at the FuturePrice Data API. We provide real-time and historical tick data and summary statistics for all stocks listed on the NYSE, NASDAQ, and AMEX. Requesting a full-market streaming feed (trades and/or quotes for all listed stocks, thousands of updates per...
