The Future Of Prop Firms (Marex Up For Sale)

re-route for a couple milliseconds to flash to HFT boys. It goes on everywhere....you just don't know it. Also, not passing on tier rebates....and that is common as well.

The Future Of Prop Firms (Marex Up For Sale)

I am a small trader. I trade about 250,000 shares per month and pay $.004/share. My firm collects $1,000 in commissions from me and I KNOW they make money on my routes. I have no idea what they pay to clear my trades but it's probably pretty low. If it is $.0005/share they are still making...

The Future Of Prop Firms (Marex Up For Sale)

There is a big need for "pay to play" stock equity firms in the US. One, it is the only way for smaller traders to LEGALLY day trade stocks. All you need to do is pass the series 56 and join a BD. Not everyone has $25,000 to day trade. (yea, I know....you can trade futures blah blah blah)...

    Catalyst Global Remote trading program

Never heard of them and they just registered their website a year ago. Generic website with no real info. Don't mess with startups...they come and go. Stick with the established firms like JC Trading or Bright.

    Confused with Maverick Trading..

Agree. They are a total scam. If they accept your deposit they must register as a BD or they are trying to sell you useless information. Stick with a real firm like Bright Trading or JC Trading Group.

Is there any prop firms in UK/Ireland that still back traders with the firms capital?

No firm is going to let you trade with no money up. This has been discussed here a thousand times. If someone says there is one then it is a scam where they make you pay for their "education" first and then let you lose a small portion of the money you just paid.

Due diligence for chosing a safe prop firm

Agree 100%. If you are in the US just take the 56 and trade with a registered firm like Bright or JC Trading Group.

Due diligence for chosing a safe prop firm

prop-trading.com is owned by alpha7. That is why the Alpha7 reviews are so high. They came on elitetrader about a year ago pumping their service and pretty much got ran off the site. They have since stopped posting here and I'm not sure they are still in business.

    Best Discretionary Trading Prop firms

If you want to trade remote call JC Trading Group. You can't beat their rates or trader support.

    Best Discretionary Trading Prop firms

Seriously....do people even know there is a "search" function on Elitetrader??? If so you would see all the negative reviews.

    Avatar, Chimera, T3, or Bright

None of the above. Call JC Trading. They will give you the best rate and the best customer support.

New book on how traders are beating the HFT guys

Just got done reading Traders Of The New Era. It is an excellent read! Being a full time trader I read a lot of trading books. At first mostly technical analysis books and then most recently trading psychology books. This book is a lot closer to psychology because you really get into the...
