Hi everyone. I currently trade using the TWS platform. Below is the example of the order I'm attempting to place. If XYZ is currently trading at $20, I place an order to go long 100 shares at $21 via a buy stop limit order. Should prices never reach that high on the day the order is...

Pattern Day Rule bypassing per example

For those unfamiliar, the Pattern Day Rule applies to accounts below $25,000. Only 4 day trades can be made in any 5 business day period. Using a trade in the SPY as an example, could someone tell me if this type of position adjustment, would get around the limits of the pattern day rule...

PDT inquiry using different strikes/expirations ???

So if I buy an AA Dec 13put option in the morning, then the only way it could be considered a day trade, is if I sold it that same day before the close. If I didn't sell it at the end of the day, but I did sell a Dec 14 put in the afternoon, or sold 100 shares of AA stock, it would not create a...

PDT inquiry using different strikes/expirations ???

So a 'day-trade', per PDT rules when using options, involves a trade where the option that is bought or sold at a specific strike price, expiration date, and whether it was a put or a call, is later closed out that same day? (Ex. Buy a Sept AA 13 Call in the morning, and sell that same exact...

    TWS 'Day Trades Remaining' PDT

Everywhere I have checked, including IB's site, has nothing to say about buying and selling multiple strike prices in the same market throughout a trading day. The only examples are for stocks themselves, or the same option that was purchased in the morning and sold in the afternoon, or vice...

IB says options symbol 'N225' is not for USA customers

That helps a tremendous amount. It sounds like SGXNK options have the highest liquidity for US customers. I'd love to trade OSE options though. Thanks for taking all that time to give me a little of your history.
