Thanks for your reply. I probably missed your comments then. Every few minutes (especially when the market is volatile), IB lags the market by a couple of seconds and then catches up with a burst.

There have been numerous threads over the last couple of days regarding the recent instability of IB's feed (especially the European servers), but I haven't yet seen a post from someone at IB commenting on this issue. The feed (Eurex) is pretty unstable today again, what's going on?

I've been with IB for years but I've never witnessed something like this...the feed has been down for more than 10 minutes...

With increasing volatility, the IB feed has been very poor in the last couple of days. Right now the Eurex feed is completely DOWN. What's going on IB??

The IB feed is totally messed up again. As soon as volatility increases, it freezes for a few seconds. Almost as bad as eSignal used to be in fast markets.... I'd appreciate if someone from IB would comment this issue....
