yes, the trend is definitely positive & has held up well from last weeks step up....I missed the 8300 & 8400 entries due to the time zone in which they ocurred. But, I catch as many as I miss, and don't chase trades, so it all balances out in the end. The intraday strat is just a simple play...

playing off the intraday strat today by the looksy!.....signalled a couple longs & a decent short so far this morning, but I guess they're gearing up for Friday's payroll numbers now. 8500 will be the testing point for further longs, and looks like a pretty good pivot 'long above/short...

:) I'm quite satisfied with this weeks 'play' Baruch, so will call it a day & enjoy the long holiday weekend. I don't trade news, if I'm already positioned then I'll tweak stops & manage the trade(s) etc...but if I'm flat/waiting for an entry, I wait till the spikes/hullabaloo have settled...

just stopped out of all cable long positions on this run at 8340........that's it for this week, back to the intraday strat on Monday & start again! :)

still long cable.....prev stops moved up from 8290 to 8340 earlier this morning....an (add in) entry was initiated earlier this a.m at 8410, stopped out on the p/b thru the round number......new long entry waiting above the morning high at 8425. target on this run up from the 7845/7900 move...

Baruch - like yours, this is simply a 'trend following' strategy. Once in an obvious trend, I simply look to add in using the natural rhythm of the market. On rapid moves thru the levels (as this present move has shown), as long as the trend remains intact, I'll add in according to the 00 level...

on a move such as this Baruch, yes, I'll add to a bust of the round number (10/90), as long as we aren't approaching any other major (obvious) s/r points.....this move thru 8300 was a fib area/resist test, so hung fire until it cleared the 8210 pitch....as it happens, I cranked the stop to b/e...

Baruch.........yes, still in the longs. Last entry (8320) stop was taken out, but remaining stops tucked in below the century pitch at 8290.....if cable kicks on, I'll assess & move stops up accordingly.

Baruch......yes, it's an audio room (both live chat & txt)...they're essentially intraday traders, but as I say, one or two pretty good folk in there occasionally....quite a few peeps new to Forex, so a mixture of experience levels....I don't frequent the room regularly, too busy concentrating...
