baruch, I trade before the news, sometimes hedging, but most of the time if the currency is going up already news has a good effect on it.

I am a strong believer of trading the news...news makes pips(lol)

I usually look for a big reversal of a downtrend or uptrend, also use ma 50, 5, 15, 30 min chart for entry point. I look at key resistance and support levels, and news..research what the analysts are saying, I pretty much keep it basic, I usually trade for intra day profits... if I am unsure...

I am now in long usd/jpy at 111.80, supposed to hit around 113.60 before going backdown. this is short term. 111.00 stop.

thank you steve, I took profit from usd/jpy at 113.75 then sold right after, +100 pips, now I am long gbp/usd at 1.7708 +28 pips so far..

that was actually the first time I have traded aud/usd, just testing it and so far so good.. the only thing is knowing when to get out.. and I think I have done pretty well going off of the gut feeling....lol

I have had similar problems, but it wasn't anything that ruined a trade for me, so I kept on keeping on.. I have only been trading forex for about six months, and have been doing nothing but studying, studying, studying, when I first started, I gave a broker 5000 he lost it all within two weeks...

I was in eur/usd, gbp/usd, and aud/usd, I think if you play it right you can use it for many pairs. thank you

thanks Baruch, I just wanted to let you know I have been using your system for a while now and have made considerable gains. I really appreciate the simplicity of it. It made me about 250 pips on sunday, and so far today about 100+ thanks
