Being able to view specific date ranges of history. Having to view all history to the current date is annoying and doesnt allow for more detailed review of the timeframe.

To clarify I am talking about index options. I trade the European markets, mainly the FTSE. What I mean by exchange value is the strike price the option settles at after market close.

joeyata1, do you find the margin requirements imposed by IB on your naked option sales to be accurate? I too am disappointed how margin is tied up on the day of expiry of the options. Just last month I got a margin call on the day of expiry for my options, all of which expired OTM.

I find the amount shown by Check Margin is not accurate at all. In you account page take a look at your excess liquidity after you place a trade and use that as an indicator. It is more accurate but still nothing to rely on.

For someone using IB as their broker and their own charting package, what are the ticker codes needed to create the same setup used in this system? I only trade the DAX, HSI and FTSE100 and have no idea where to start for US markets.

Perhaps consider the west coast of Australia. Perth is much cheaper than the east coast for living but will conceade less job opportunities. Not sure on prop firms or arcades in this city. Very good location for trading Asian, European and openning US markets. Weather is also excellent.
