I think it really depends on the person and their situation. Someone who has expensive hobbies, such as driving sports cars and art collecting, would probably be happier with more money than $75K. Someone else who just likes reading books or playing board games would be fine with $75K.

i thought 25k rule was annoying, but there are far bigger issues to deal with, and its pretty easy to gather up 25k for any astute mind.

this doesn't seem right the average person makes $3600/yr and the average home price is 10x that? I doubt the average home price is 350k thats double the US price. And healthcare, $4000/yr must be really good healthcare otherwise no one in chile can afford except the super rich.

Of course home schooled kids should be better students, they have parents who care a lot about having a good education, so its obvious they are going to do better than average.
