What do you consider to be the true daily opening of the ES as opposed to the offically designated one as shown on CME Website. Is it more like the FOREX is where there really is'nt a opening/closing per say, but in periods through the day where where the market becomes significantly more active...

Thats all I do. I just concentrate on the USD/EURO and use 3 indicators. Whle occasionally, I can pick a bigger move (50+ pips), most of the time it is just 5 to 20. Don't ignore system developement though. It provides the base you need to trade sucessfully.

Well, I thought that it might stall a bit at that point. So, might as well take the $$$ while its there and wait for another opportunity to short. Of course as I type this the Euro has hit 1.2038 and is probably heading for the high 1.19's tonight.

Selling at 1.2160. I think personally we are on our way down to 1.19, but we will see. I don't think that terrible State of the Union adress is going to matter much.

Looking to buy tomorrow. I think we will see a nice jump up, then who knows?. Probably start trading in a range for couple days, then drop again.

This may seem simplistic, but I would sugest looking at the daily chart first. When you have determined its general trend, enter only when you see moving in that direction. Trying to pick every reversal is too hard.

What is your time frame and what are your specific goals?

Tried to enter a buy at 1.2250. The broker covienently went off line for nearly an hour. the Euro immeidately zoomed up to 1.2278. Ugh I hate this crap. Anyway, I think we are going to see the Euro drop to some where in the high 1.2100's. Depending on condition, 1.2290 might be a good entry...

Its there. I am buying at 1.2096.

Euro is trading at 1.2099 right now. My inclination is to go long. I am thinking a good entry would somewhere between 1.2080 and1.2095. Eventual short term target 1.2150, long term over 1.2250. We'll see soon enough.

After studying the weekly chart, I believe we are on our way up again. But considering the action of the last couple of days, I am going to wait for a good entry point. I think somewhere around 1.2030 to 1.2050 would be a good spot with an eventual target above 1.22. So good luck everbody, it...

All indicators are usefull. It is more important to know how and when to use them. This only comes from experiences and research. .

Days like this make it all worthwhile. Got out at 1.2030. Now if it only worked this well every time.
