Hey guys, I started trading after the Nasdaq switched to dollars and cents from the 1/2 point and all that stuff...I'm reading a technical analysis book, and it's an older one where it refers to points.. When this happens and the price moved 1/4 a point do this.. What is 1/2 point, 1/8...

Well I haven't been trading for an extended amount of time..I was in training, and my company didn't pay you in training - blah blah blah (don't want to get into it again).. Anyways, I'm using LightSpeed.

Back with my old company, I used to trade with the help of eSignal. I basically based all my moves of my charts of my stock, combined with the S&P and Nasdaq futures. I also used pivot points. This style of trading helped me A LOT, and I did very well. However, I'm with a new company now...

I can accept that. I just find (mainly today), the trade would be going against me, but the markets would be dropping (I'm short), so I assume I'm safe..I'll average (which I almost feel as if it's a sin to do - I hate it)..And then the stock keeps going up, markets keep going down so I assume...

I don't think that God would have anything to do with it. I, personally, am a strong believer that life exists elsewhere in the universe. Considering that the universe is so much larger than our already large solar system, and considering that Earth has life, I don't see why another planet...

If I have this correct, our land is crown land, while in the US it is all private hence higher costs to American lumber companies..Not our fault the US doesn't help out it's own country and likes to reap the benefits of its capitalist society :confused:

BRUT can go to .0001, I've read here ARCA does too, but I've never been able to. ISLD and INSB both can go to .0001 from my experience at least..if it's different for each software package, i don't know..

Swiftmike, I haven't moved anywhere. I'll be a remote trader from home. Im not worrying about not getting paid, I've talked to the manager and he's a great guy.

Thats true, but its not a company 'style'..It's a individual style that many people seem to employ. The company doesn't tell you "go out and make credits", or "go out and be a momentum trader"..You basically do whatever you want.
