Which prop firms have the best training?

I second Bright for good training, the good thing about them is that it isn't just a few weeks and then you're on your own, the training is ongoing through just the day-to-day guidance of Don, Bob and the other traders, as well as advanced classes several times a year.

    MedVed QuoteTracker Software

I used to use it for trading before going prop and still use it to track the S&P, good basic charting and the price is right. Jerry Medved is also active on the board and very quick to answer any questions, I don't think it sleeps at all, any time day or night an email gets a quick response.

May they rest in peace: dead firms

Did they not have a risk control department that could tell what his positions were?

May they rest in peace: dead firms

Or maybe he/she was banned for all the profanity and general lack of respect for the rules of the forum. And as you can see that did not deter him/her from creating another alias.

May they rest in peace: dead firms

Check with your firm to be sure but customer accounts are SIPC insured so you should have nothing to worry about. If you follow Don's posts you will see the same people always there to give him a hard time, on the other hand most of the people that know and trade with Don don't defend him...

    Any motorcycle riders?

Most cars need a couple of miles to get to top speed, bikes can get there much quicker, Road and Track embarrassed themselves when they ran an R1 against a Corvette ZR1 and they found out the bike went from 0-100 and back to 0 before the 'Vette could even get to 100. There are tracks all over...

    Any motorcycle riders?

Had a CBR600 and CBR900 for the racetrack and an RC51 for the street but sold them all to get capital for trading so I can buy bunches more.

    MB Trading

I used them for about 6 months before going prop, good executions fairly stable platform, good tech support, I was very happy with them and they integrate with Quotetracker for a good low-cost platform, look at the reviews under brokers and also do a search as they have been discussed before, PM...

    MB Trading

MB Trading is also my first (and only so far) broker, it doesn't have all the charts and bells of some other Broker Platforms but since I do mainly swing trades MB Navigator integrated with Quotetracker makes for a very cheap and decent package. As far as the service of MB goes, I get quick...

$5,000 entry with training Plus, Plus

Yeah and my friend lost $30,000 after training at another prop firm, and my brother lost $5,000 at a casino, and my mother lost all her retirement investing in a franchise, etc.... My point is in a vocation with such a high failure rate of course some are going to fail with ANY firm, I've yet...

    Series 7 Prep (Again)

I know this thread has been beaten to death but I am starting to study for the 7 before I visit Mr. Bright in March (thanks Don) and was wondering if anyone here had some prep guides they would like to sell, I would prefer STC but if anyone has anything else let me know. Also I did come...

    Transition: loser to winner

I guess I'm just the exception to the rule, I paper-traded for 3 months, thought about using a stock picking service, decided against that and sold my beloved motorcyle to open a trading account with $6000, that was the first of August and I as of today my account is $8954, almost a 50% increase...
