I am not certain about STOP LIMIT orders outside of regular trading hours for the YM, as the YM doesn't trade on Globex (of which I am not certain however). For the ES (which trades on Globex), you can certainly do this. You just need to make sure the STOP LIMIT order is marked for execution...

I saw Tyren's butterfly setup in real time, as did I also see the 1-2-3 bottom setup at that same location. They can be spotted in real time easily enough. The bigger question is whether or not you will be able to pull the trigger and trade them successfully. -- M

I use Quicken to track my futures trades. TradeLog for stock trades, as it calculates wash sales properly, while Quicken/TurboTax does not. -- M

I wasn't looking for so much as the "correct" bias, but more for different views on the market. No one knows for sure what the market will do, so there really can't be a "correct" view, just correct ways of looking at the market. Thanks for your posts DB.

Hi Db, I day trade the ES. I look at various time frames to see where the fib levels are, which I use as potential reversal points, and to get the trend for that time frame, to get a feel as to if I should have a long or short bias to the market. -- M

I noticed that I didn't draw my 720 min chart trendline correctly. Upon redrawing it, the market is still trading along the trendline, so it looks like an uptrend still in force. -- M
