Peeps: how do you handle open trades at last year's end on your tax schedule for the current year. Do you just leave em off your current scdedule D as they will be reported in the coming tax year. This is a bit confusing.

Hi: I am a new/aspiring day-trader. I dont know how to include the trades that were open when 2010 rolled around. I have populated my schedule D with all the trades from 2009 except those that i bought in 2009 and remained open through to 2010. how do i handle these? Thanks for your help...
