Anyone else think this will spike on the next correction? From what I see the Russell has allready rolled over, and SPY is holding up but has had some black days the past week. Anyone else thinking that the next correction has begun?

I agree, a gap on a geared ETF doesn`t mean much. The underlying ETF`s (or commodity`s) chart should be studied instead.

Looking at the charts today I saw that GLD is beneath Oktober support, and might confirm today, while SLV is no where near it. I`m going all inn on ZSL (down 3% at the moment) betting it will be drawn towards Oktober level without a significant bounce. I stray from my method, but well well...

I agree, I think it will top at about 19. Getting through that it will maybe go to 31, but it will suprise me.

:) I`ll try to explain it like this; they are shorting for you (and gearing the short 3 times), and you are betting they are right to do so.

You`re welcome, for now I only know about the big indexes so I choose the one that are most geared (ie. 3x) for the index that I think will move most in the near future. In this recovery the small firms will be doing the heavy lifting so the Russel moves the most, but sadly my broker don`t offer...

Sounds good, I`ll probably go straight to the source when I`ve got something basic running and want to program something more advanced. Maybe hook up with Interactive Brokers one day (which I also heard about on this forum) for programmed intraday exits.
