Jury Awards Trading Technologies $15.9M In Royalty Row

Amen! From what I see it's a functionality. How was this awarded as a patent?

CBOE is 15 per month. Check with CTSm but i believe that is what I paid when I enabled it.

Bloomberg says tim sykes is a douche bag

I do not know anything about penny stocks, nor his method, nor the "motivation" of his followers. but, clearly the riches that he attained are from sales and marketing, and not from his trading skills. Do I have a problem with that? not at all. Like I said, if it takes a certain kind of...

Bloomberg says tim sykes is a douche bag

This is correct, it does not say he is a crook. They said he is a douche bag. They also said that he uses douche bag marketing. What Bloomberg failed to mention that is takes douche bag marketing to market to douche bags.

Citibank Sues Two Traders for $25 Million over SNB Flash Crash Losses

Yes! Although this does not seem to be more than the typical of "you owe us" versus "your risk management should have stopped us from trading"

    Marketsurfer Destroys The iWatch

iWatch is not a luxury product, although someone decided he needs a blinged one for $17K. Further, when I say "designer" I am not talking about Martha Stewart home decoration, rather those that Apple design employees who understand the interaction between man and machine. Do not forget, they...

    Marketsurfer Destroys The iWatch

@marketsurfer opinion on this subject are baseless, and he does not have the credentials of a designer, or a usability engineer to determine the flaws or merits of such a product. Comparison of iWatch to Google Glasses or Segway, are a random choice of products that did not succeed. However...

    Marketsurfer Destroys The iWatch

"The iPhone is nothing more than a luxury bauble that will appeal to a few gadget freaks," Bloomberg News wrote in January 2007—more than 500 million iPhone sales ago.

    amp review

Yes, that sounded most sincere. It would be most recommended that you insert your comments in more appropriate threads and not on a competitor's. It would make you look much prettier.

Getting real time historical data and applying it to stops.

Yes, TR made a huge difference for me once I started applying it. Made the drawdowns a bit bigger per trade, but did not knock me out of the game and allowed me to stay in the required direction.

Anyone gave up trading for a living?

I trade what I see, and interpret, whether it's an edge, is up to debate. Psychologically plays a role in execution, and I am afraid to mess it up by going full time. Maybe I recognized the limitations of my abilities and pushing them would not not be beneficial. Trading is not rewarding...

Anyone gave up trading for a living?

There are days I am tempted to to close my business, and just trade. Then I come back to ET, and get a dose of truth. I appreciate all those here who tell the truth as is, and don't just live vicarisuly via their handle with delusional adventures as a trader. I will always trade, but having a...

    Newbie looking for a platform/advice

LOL. I did not mean that you gave me attitude, my question was why have an attitude of "willing to lose"? Anyway, I wish you all the best, you have a long road a head.

    Newbie looking for a platform/advice

Why have such an attitude? Show me ONE successful business man that gets into a business that is willing to lose anything for the sake of trying or because he is intrigued.."Sorry, but I am out!" Take your time and learn, you are up against the best of the best.

    Newbie looking for a platform/advice

We are on the same page. I am by no means a "pro" with some HFT code rather a well studied trader and one that reviews his trading almost weekly. Most traders rather have a curiosity relationship with the market, and are willing to pay the price for it without being well prepared. As you...

    Newbie looking for a platform/advice

I apologize for giving you real advice. Go buy trading books up to $250 and stop getting advice from hobbyists. The futures market is way to leveraged for such a small account, and the one you can afford run B-books that will run you to the ground. Save at least $25K then you will start with...
