I don't really have an opinion on the reality of the account, but I do have a few comments. 15k isn't alot of money to lose over a few days. Wouldn't the account have to be near 400k to hold 70 contracts overnight? (5625x70) That said, losing 15-30k on an account that size shouldn't really be...

Thanks for the reply. I'm using Esignal, and they unfortunately don't keep a log of trades. So I guess I'm going to have to start recording trades, unless there is some way to import and decipher Dormans reports into Excel.

Are the daily statements they send via email impossible to decipher if you make more than one trade a day? Anytime I have more than one trade, the trades are just listed sequentially lowest ES entry/exit to highest ES entry/exit. TRADE SETTL AT BUY SELL CONTRACT................EX...

If the OP is still around? Why can't you just open a futures account with a few thousand and work from there? If you traded 2 contracts on ES and were able to average 2 points a day($200), you could build up a decent bankroll in a few months, then if you are successful move up to 4 contracts.

Why couldn't he control losses with futures? Day trading futures is the same as day trading stocks, with futures having a lower account balance requirement. Strip off the labels ES, BAC, GOOG We are all trading in price changes, whatever the product.
