I just got the Meander Strategy system working on Tradestation intraday charts. Its very interesting. The backtesting is a little too good to believe. Anyone else worked with this strategy and found it worthwhile?

MB Trading's Navigator is decent, if simple software. But their infrastructure is just awful. Between their data outages and Penson's screw ups, they are not worth the trouble.

We use a one minute total market TICK chart as a secondary indicator, but only for scalping, since it can turn on a dime, just as the market does. Now and then it leads, which is helpful. Like anything else, watch it, see if it is helpful to your particular method, and if not, move on.

When you have that kind of day, may I suggest taking a break. Then come back and paper trade your system to regain confidence, or decide on a new system, one way or another.

Slippage is directly related to your broker and data fees, and the trading system one uses. If you scalp repeatedly for tiny gains, your slippage is certainly going to be higher. Likewise if you position trade and use loose stops your slippage will be significant as well.. as in LOSS.
