They are capable of moving quite a bit. Spreads are fairly narrow during US regular trading hours. Other times the spread for Platinum may be 500 usd and for palladium 200 usd. I trade longer time frames (weeks) and its not a problem for me. Sridhar

Forgot - yes, same for all contracts.

Foreign fee was approx 80c per contract. Overnight was approx 20c per day per contract. Its been a few months so I dont remember the exact numbers.

They were my broker a few months ago. I had two problems with them - a "foreign" charge for every trade, and an overnight fee for contracts held overnight for every contract, every day. Other things were quite good.

i trade longer time frames and find ib charts to be adequate. if you are running windows based software its possible on ubuntu by installing a windows emulator such as Wine. I havent used it but have heard good things about it. Good luck.
