    Question on the market depth

From your picture you posted I can't tell what that is. The lables at the top are cut off. What I can tell you is that there does not "have" to be any orders at every number up and down the chart and again, orders can be hidden so I don't believe you get a real picture anyway. The...

    Question on the market depth

Ok well it is good to know you are a real human with real intention. As far as your question it sounds like you think there is a pre-determined "depth" of a market or a very specific perameter set to what it "must" be. In theory it would be from 0 to infinity but there is no set range...

    Question on the market depth

No law for DOM hahaha. It should be outlawed though! First off if you open an account with various brokers you will get what you are looking for for free. Second, I do not use DOM now but when I did it would only show about 5 up and 5 down from the current price. All in all though...

    Question on the market depth

For what reason do you want this? It is my understanding that while some programs offer this great service of "DOM" traders can hide their order from it so you really don't get an accurate picture anyway. Hope you are not paying extra for "DOM".

    Corn Spread Order Execution

Responces are above, youngtrader. From someone who admits to heavy drinking with aspirations that are not impressive to me I give no weight to anything you say. You have no focus, you are all over the place and with nothing of use to share. Almost all of your posts are negative with your...

    Corn Spread Order Execution

OK well if I think the difference between Dec and March will be less in a week or so then what spread do I want to buy? + Dec / - March? Thought you could short a spread the same an an outright. . .

    Corn Spread Order Execution

I must not have entered my order correct on here... I want to SELL the spread. If it is currently valued at 14 or higher why will it not SELL at 13.75. Am I not able to sell a spread that I am not in? I believe the differential will narrow in the near future so I want to sell this spread and...

    Corn Spread Order Execution

Question for the pros: Is it common to wait to get into a spread for 5 days? I have had an open order now that does not get filled. . . Here is the order in question: Buy: 1 ch10 Sell: 1 cz9 Limit/sell: 13.75 The original was 13.50 but after 2 days of no fill I figured what the...

    Companies that buy foreclosures?

Why not get in on the action yourself! That's right you can profit 10, 20, 50 even 100K or more by finding foreclosures and REO's and turn them around for a quick profit WITHOUT even using ANY of your own money or credit!. Just send me $999 and I will show you how! Dude, just play the...

mini corn, mini soybeans, mini wheat

I am able to get in and out of mini corn with ease and it is a great place to learn. If that is what your comfortable with why not risk less while you figure it all out. Plenty of people post silly remarks about liquidity but in my world that has never been an issue. If you have good entry...

    CZ9 /CH10 Spread

Oh yeah, I am not swearing off the spread for life but in this situation I don't feel comfortable with it after our exchange. (I put the post up cause I felt I was missing something and I sure was...) I went long about 2 days before the frost rumor just for technical reasons and made out...

    CZ9 /CH10 Spread

OK, that is what I thought origially but when I spread stock options in the past the margin would be the max risk (or so I remember it many years ago). So when I saw the super low low margins I had to question it. For a second I thought I became illuminated :) -Too good to be true...

    CZ9 /CH10 Spread

Ok this is becomming more clear but that brings me back to my original question (that I may not have asked clearly) What then is my risk? $42.70? Forty two dollars? If it is currently trading at a spread of 13 for the sake of arguement could it not tighten up and then I loose a boat load or...

    CZ9 /CH10 Spread

I wouldn't say I am new to the markets but this question may prove otherwise. When I attempted to preview my trade idea I was told the margin was $42.70 - To me that sounds like an almost no risk trade and I would think that there would be litle room for profit. (thus my posting was born)...

    CZ9 /CH10 Spread

I do not have an opinion either way, it is a matter of a new idea to me this afternoon and wanting to get more information before I try something and after these comments I have gone from "I think I know what I am getting into" to "I have no clue what I am doing here". So, if I do anything...

    CZ9 /CH10 Spread

If I were to enter this I am not sure how... It tells me that the margin requirements are $47 and that the spread was 13.500 to the buy side (as of the last time I checked) I don't understand what figure is entered into the limit window... 1 or 13.500 or what. Is there better advantage...

    CZ9 /CH10 Spread

I had an idea today and see that all of the sudden lots of other people are talking about spreads but my question is a little different. My idea is potentially to short cz9 and go long ch10. I did calendar spreads with options before but not futures. Being that the margin...
