I you have a positive expectancy over the course of all trades it matters not whether 70%/winners 30%/losers or vice versa with 30%/winners 70%/losers. or any other combination. If the end result is a positive expectancy then money management(AKA position sizing) can help the account grow...

boomer, there are three platforms I know of that give you the vertical market depth order entry. X-Trader, J-Traders(DOME), and the new Tradestation Matrix. I wouldn't say that anyone is better than the other. I personally don't like the vertical order entry and prefer TWS or J-traders...

all it did was retrace fridays wild up move on the employment report. I wouldn't call it panic city otherwise the 10year would not have stopped on a dime at '25. now it may drop more but it was set on retracing the upmove. good trading to you :) ..of course hindsight is 20/20 and its easy...

I think X-trader is perfect for scalpers such as what your doing. I think that when trading for longer term intraday moves/trends looking at x-traders vertical depth makes it too tempting for quick in and out trades and its a hindurance IMHO. Do you ever trade spreads? with autospreader?

You must also have rules that state when you drop back in size, not just when you up it. Heres a little example that is not real world dollars but lets say using futures contracts; 1 contract = 5000 required equity 2 contract = 7500 required equity drop back to 1 contract at 6250 equity...
