Is the fan on the 310 card a factor for noise? I currently have two 295 cards and looking to add a 3rd...just wondering about the 310

Here is a card (Firepro 2460) that can power 4 monitors...and it comes with 4 DVI to mini-disply port adapters...but my question remains...these appear to be simple DVI adapters and not the "Dual Link DVI" adapters... So would this card be worthless for my setup...

Yes, currently I have 2 NVS 295 cards... I'm dead set on these monitors...so I am thinking I need to get a new video card/s to run these 4 monitors, preferably a card with dual link dvi connections or something that can easily convert to that format... Any thoughts on which card/s?

But if this adapter will pass through the dual link DVI signal to my video card, then I imagine it should be fine, and I just need 4 of these adapters, and run the dual link DVI cable from the monitor to this adapter, and then plug the adapter straight into the video card...
