Proprietary Futures Firms Hiring Experienced Remote Traders?

As mentioned by another, Towertradinggroup with HQ in London can probably do that if you have track record. You're essentially giving up % of split for leverage.

Is there any prop firms in UK/Ireland that still back traders with the firms capital?

You're misinformed. There are a few. Depends what type of trading, Anyway. There could be numerous reasons for this. Doesn't make the person a failed trader who's not worth backing. Only takes some time to assess if there's opportunity for both parties.

    Index future spread help (newbie)

You put 4 DAX on and that spread blows out and, you'll know all about it if you're a retail trader. DAX can do some pretty volatile moves intraday against other indices. 1 by 3 is fine if you have small capital. Agreed about knowing why it's moving.

<< Spreading the Bund >> (please read!)

With respect; were you paying attention to the news flow that day? It matters. Was this around the time of Japanese monetary policy changes? Massive move into European yield on that. FOATS went below US 10yr for a period! Yields moved dramatically around Italian elections. Yields...

Cities for starting a prop firm/hedge fund?

Dublin, Ireland. Corporation Tax. Timezone. 6 hour flight to East Coast. SIG, Virtu & Geneva established there. Plenty of IT talent with every US multinational having their Euro HQ there. Four Universities within easy reach of the city.

I think it has gotten to the stage where you have to report George's postings as spam. It just clogs up the forum.

    Kanellop!!!

Hi George, Your news posts are not a problem. It was that there were so many it was difficult to see other threads. That is all. As suggested, putting them in one thread makes it easier for everyone to see the entire Ags forum and your own personal news thread. The best of both worlds...

    Kanellop!!!

I think you're starting up too many new threads. It's taking away from this section. I'd suggested having one thread titled "Grain News/Articles" or something and posting the latest interesting article there. All the new threads you post make it just look like spam.

    John Rambo trades FESX

Goes bid and offer on the spread? Does it in 6E (eurodollar) too but not on same timeframe. Difficult to see where he's laying it. It's an algo because it's too fast and consistent to be someone clicking. Haven't figured it out, yet.

CL, ES, FDAX, GC, Signals 41k YTD

Maybe there has been a miscommunication here. When you say you've traded up to 70 lots, do you mean having all that size on at once or do you mean a total of 70 loats traded in the day? There's a big difference.

CL, ES, FDAX, GC, Signals 41k YTD

You're missing the point. If you had those returns with 5/6 lots in the futures market people might take notice. With the size you're talking about, you should be generating far greater returns. Your max up day is brutal for that size being honest.

So in 60 days or so of trading you've not been caught out with a 20 lot on in the dax/cl or gc on any sort of news flow? Do you trade these markets simultaneously? i.e. ever long or short all three at once?

CL, ES, FDAX, GC, Signals 41k YTD

You trade 50 lots in the dax,cl and gold outrights. Futures? And only up 41K ($/€???) on the year? You must have taken some large draws and/or average a hell of a lot.

There is low volume across ALL products on ALL exchanges this morning. Give me ONE product where there is a larger then usual volume at this time today. If you're not having any success in the market at this time of day maybe you shouldn't trade during this period. Also, constantly...
