I use TD Ameritrade. By bar chart do you mean OHLC? and what symbol exactly do I need to type? $TICK-NYSE?

How do I make $TICK work with QT? The chart does not seem to move all the time. It's like for minutes it remains flat, and all of a sudden moves to another number. Is it because I set the chart type wrong (I use line chart atm). Helps appreciated! Zhao

Just wondering whats the best data feed with QT? I'm using TD Ameritrade, but data seems to be lagging a little bit. And if price is moving really fast, chart will stop for a minute or two. Any suggestions? Is it due to internet connection and other hardware issues? Zhao
