I failed with a 56%. The CBOE manual was garbage. I didn't even read half and really had nothing to do with the questions they gave me. I think I'll go with pass perfect to get me over the hump on my re take.

My test is on friday and I'm not even half way through the book. Not looking good. Don't think i'll make it.

Thanks for the link EvOTrAdEr. I agree any firm that does not allow a U4 and a 56 is something to watch to out for. I'm not saying all, but there are some that are just out there.

Doesn't WTS/CTG prepare there traders with the CBOE study guide?

I hear passperfect study guides are 400 pages but never heard any complaints about them.

Are they a CBOE firm or a sub LLC? All CBOE firm is a a one year lockup.

I think thats the best way for beginners. Atleast your actually trading with real money and not sim trading. It also shows how emotions get in the way too.

Thanks Codetroll, The prop that I'm currently with suggests me to trade small. Like 100-300 shares to maintain my 5k. And I agree with sim trading, its not the same. I've tried it and its like playing nintendo or something. But anyways they told me as soon as I'm up like $100, stop trading...

I'm just curious because I'm a beginner and have yet to profit. Has anyone actually made a living off of that? I mean isn't it kind of tough to make a living off of that in my opinion. And has anyone been with their prop for more than 2 years with just profits after profits? Just curious and...
