Anyone interested in managing an account

The crux is there appears no one who can trade with small drawdowns for any length of time when expecting high returns. However it has provoked some thought and afew kindly posters have suggested some potential funds. I have recently invested some money with a trader who targets >100% but...

Anyone interested in managing an account

I am looking for a top performing trader to manage an account for me. Those interested will need to show an excellent long term track record with a reasonable sized account, minor drawdowns and a solid money management system. I wish to gross inexcess of 8% per month after commissions with an...

Anyone tried or use any of their black box systems and if so what have your results been like? They are now offering one compatible with Esignal too. Any users? Long term annual performance appears very good. Thanks

    End of day data

Thanks for all your reply. I am going to give naq.com a try for futures data, it is considerably cheaper than elsewhere and it will hopefully do {richtrader has no doubt benefited}. I am also going to try TC2000 for US stocks, I've been inpressed with the trial and they are offering a half...

    Trading the S&P/DJIA spread

Slightly aside of this I was trying to calculate the perfect hedge using either Dow $5 and NQ $20 contracts for 20 S&P $50's yesterday. I was basing it on 63 days of non globex backdata. My calculations came in at 37.6 NQ's {therefore trade 38 to cover extra com.}and 21 Dow's. Liquidity and...

    End of day data

Anyone able to recommend an 'end of day data' package for futures, including commodities and forex along with US and Euro stocks? I use Esignal for realtime data but not sure if the EOD package is too restrictive {limits on when you can view data, max. 500 stocks etc}. They will not allow a...

    Best Charting for US+Asian+European Futures??

I use ESignal for both the bund and EStoxx 50. In my experience the data delay when compared to the Pats feed is about 1 second - I also only operate on a 56k modem as unable to get broadband in the sticks. IMO this is not a problem, what you might lose on one you'll gain on another.

    ES Daytraders: How many indicators?

Tech Analysis Impressed with your 17 ticks a day! Can I ask how many trades you've been averaging on these days in question? I use 5 tick with BB's. Breadth indicator and CCI on es5. Plus a couple of ema's.

    Emini NQ Average Ranges

{Perhaps this explains more!} On Wednesday, Oct 30th at 4:30 pm ET Brandon Fredrickson and Toni Hansen will be giving a class in conjunction with the Chicago Board of Trade. The class will cover the practical aspects of daytrading, specifically daytrading the CBOT's mini-sized Dow Futures...

    Euro BUND & BOBL

Bernd Thanks for your reply. I am glad we are are largely in agreement over indicators. One further question - What number of ticks do you target at a minimum and how many ticks are your stops generally? Also do you use resting stops or find the stop gunners pick these off too readily...

    Euro BUND & BOBL

Bernd Do you find there are any moving averages or any indicators that work well with the bunds that you are willing to share? In my experience a stochastic on the 5 minute is of some help for overbought/sold and also fib. and pivot points are often reversed within a tick or two. Previous...

    Squawk box

Anybody find these useful or is it too distracting. I understand it can be useful if you are familiar with some of the names of the v.large traders to determine direction. Any recommendations too? TIA
