25k at Bright and 10k at Echo. I don't remember how much leverage I had at Bright, but it was 30/1 at Echo.

In this environment you probably say "yes, I'd like fries and a shake with that" because most of the hedgies have blown up and work at Mickey D's now.

If you have been a broker for 15 years you must have a huge book and must generate some nice commissions. Don't walk away from that. I walked away from a $60 million book of biz cause I was burned out. Tried trading at Bright Trading.....didn't make the cut and went back to being a broker...

Just curious.........I'm an equity scalper. Any S&P mini scalpers out there? I have never traded futures. Would love to try it out. Do you tape read with futures or is it all about trendlines and technicals? How would you begin if you are new to futures?

Tape reading is such an art. The last response here about the seller stepping down to hit the bid and getting filled a penny above his order price is right on.......a sure sign that there were buyers waiting. When I see orders come into the NYSE open book and get filled with price improvement...
