What made you give up on desktops? What advantage do you see with the laptop besides portability? Seems laptops have more problems and generally do not last as long as a desktop...oh, and they cost more money.

I'm glad I read this. I HATE loud, noisy computers. What's up with computers being so noisy? If I remember correctly, computers I had many years ago were quiet. Seems they just keep getting noisier. I will definitely check out the ones you're talking about. Thanks, catchawave!
