What's better: Great GPA, or positive track record?

Hello, I'm considering just paying for a training fee, in the hopes that I can possibly get a positive track record and joining a more reputable prop firm. My gpa is poor, so will having a positive track record trump the gpa? Also, how do you show that you have a positive track record...

    Non-selective firms

Yeah, that's why I'm avoiding those firms. If nothing works out though, I'll probably join GHCO because it's cheap, and then statistics show that I have like a 99% chance of being let go, but then at least I can say I have some experience and then try again.

    Non-selective firms

Hi, I've been looking like crazy for firms over the past 5 months. I know I originally stated that I was willing to pay a deposit, but my research has shown that firms that require a deposit are not very good at training their employees, no matter how legit they are. They are more focused on...

    Random questions

Hello, I've got a couple of questions I was wondering if people could answer. First of all, what is churn and burn? Is that when a firm is constantly hiring and firing traders to get the 1 out of 50 traders that can make good money or is it some kind of trading strategy or neither...

    Ghco

I will no doubt focus on being successful but from what I've read it's hard to be successful in your first year, and I'm sure even you made some mistakes in your first year. I'm looking for a firm that will help me break through the learning curve.

    Ghco

Hello, I know there are threads about this company already, but they are mostly outdated. Sorry. I am considering GHCO but I was wondering if anyone could give me some information regarding their firing process. Let’s say I pay the fee, then do well on the simulation, trade live, and...

Hello, can anyone give me some advice about joining this firm? What are the educational requirements? What's the interview process like? I'm inexperienced, and have the money for training fee or capital deposit or whatever it is they charge.

Firms that hire, regardless of gpa

Hello, I'm desperately seeking a firm that will hire me, even though I have a low gpa, from a low tiered school. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I am in Chicago, and would like to stay here. I would prefer no capital deposit, but I can't be too picky I guess. Also, I...
