It depends on what you want to do. You can start with the SimpleSendOrderDemo example in the VB.NET folder. I have also used the Quotes example in their VB folder. VS 2008 is perfect.

Try trading slower moving stocks like S or MOT. Go for a penny first, then as you gain confidence move to stocks that move 2-3 pennies in a 1min candle. Repeat....

Does anybody know of a website that allows you to see news related to a portfolio of over 100 stocks on the same webpage? finviz.com does a good job but only allows 50 stocks in the portfolio. thanks
