FXCM is a bucket shop (period). Anyone who argues that they are not must be on their payroll. Anyone trade futures through IB or Think or Swim and what is your experience vs. bucket shops?

Nice call on bounce. Unfortunately I'm short, though still in the money for the time being. I am expecting the med. term downward trend to continue. What are your thoughts as to rational for bounce since clearly we are in downward trend in Eur/USD.

Do you even know what a trend is? From Jan. 2006 until July of 2008 the eur/usd was in a clear upward trend. It went from the 1.15 to 1.60, a huge move. Can you see the trend line? I'm not saying it is in a clear trend now, but it was then. There is no doubt.

if you take your chart back to feb, 2008, there is an upward slopping trendline that was breached in august 2008 at around 1.55 eur/usd. You can see what has happend since then. So yes, they exist.

Does anyone know a dealer who is fair regarding slippage. My current dealer blows past my stop if the price gaps against me afterhours. But if the price moves in my favor they manage to fill me, at my limit and not a pip above. This happend on Christmas night. Ho, ho, ho. Merry rip off.
