Just me who thinks NQ is VERY jumpy today. My chart cannot keep up with trading "ladder"

Hi Jimbo It sounds like you adapt to every day market conditions. The market change every day but you seem to be on the right side most of the time. Good job.

The charts are real time but the scanning and quotepage are delayed. So the candlesticks are real time. You can use this while you learn to trade.

I use it on mac and works fine so not sure whats wrong. Can you be more specific? Otherwise try calling them.

If you are new to trading. Use free software like thinkorswim and papertrade (meaning use simulator)

If its for a hobby then I suggest using ThinkOrSwim demo. It is 100% free. The charts are real time but quote page is delayed.

Try Stockfinder at Worden. I believe you can do it in this software. But try asking them. They have great customer service.

You guys who trade oil. Do you have a a 24 hour chart or are you only using US opening hours or perhaps tick charts? TIA

Thanks for all your replies. Appreciate it. I can definitely feel that ToS is not the best for scalping. Its not that I only scalp for a few tick but I do use tick chart for entering trades and if I get filled 1-2 tick later because of slow print of bars then its not worth saving money on...

Hi ThinkOrSwim users. I have read many complains about the lagging/slow data on ToS. I have tried their demo and can see that its a little slower than my IB. Especially during fast movement in the market. I was wondering if its the same on a real account? 1 or 2 tick bad fill can cost a lot...

I dont use them myself but Interactive Brokers, Think Or Swim and Etrade has iPhone/iPad. I use ToS and IB on Mac and they are really good.

It depends if you want charting as well. ThinkSwim is a good all around but if you are looking for execution only then IB is the choice. No complains at all. IB simply works and you can do all account things online, transfer etc.

So what you are saying is that you still need to do your analysis of the overall market? I have just begun studying PnF so its all really new to me. I see you have done a lot of work by commenting on old post. Great work

If you are not paying for a brokerplatform or datefeed with the creditcard then I would decline.

Worden has made a new software which you can see on www.stockfinder.com but otherwise this site is working www.worden.com. Not sure why you cant access it.

Tradestation give u terrible fills. Especially during high volatility. I had IB and TS running at the same time. IB always faster. One of the reasons I moved away from TS.

Here is one for you. EBAY daily. Good risk to reward. I personally dont like shorting stocks when stockmarket is in an uptrend.
