Who had and solved problem of fighting the trend?

Traders in general look to do things that the normal crowd is not into. And what is that? It's going against the trend. You have to realize this and learn to go with the trend (after taking quite a few losses) I believe Soros mentioned that he lost the most money by shorting the market.

Getting long term cheapest 2x leverage on Nasdaq 100

For a long term (3-5 years) trade . Knowing that nothing is for free, how do I go about getting 2x leverage on the Nasdaq 100 index. I could buy QQQQ on margin (and pay margin loan fee) at the broker, or I could buy the mutual fund UOPIX (which has a 1.7 % expense ratio) Which one of...

Long term Leverage on sector indexs

Well, I have read (skimmed thru) a few books on options. I have also realized that directional strategies using options is just a very small aspect of options. However, the reason I was interested in options in the first place was leverage. So, to keep it simple, I want to only focus on that...

Long term Leverage on sector indexs

I am a total newbie. At this point, I think that if there were a futures market on the sector indexes I would just use that. I am interested in using options for long term (2-6 months) directional strategies. The only thing I want is leverage. (I think I could get this leverage at a prop...

    Trading from New Zealand

I have heard that Perth is a very nice place to be. For your visit I highly recommend visiting the south island as well. The local Kiwi folks don't think much of Auckland. I suspect it's because of the high Chinese population (I think it's atleast 40 %). It's also a crowded city with...
