So this is what I have been doing. It's really not that complicated since I am relatively new to options but I am trying to profit from both direction and volatility. Buy low sell high on the options and pick direction on the stock. Well at least not get crushed on volatility for gained...

I wanted to start this thread in the hopes that we might learn something. I have had great results thus far by adding options to my stock swing trading and wanted to discuss all aspects with likeminded individuals. What do you think of this current market climate? Backspread ? Frontspread??

What's the deal with AMEX "making markets" in nasdaq stocks. Is that a joke or what ? Take a look at something like LRCX ...AMEX is quite frequently inside but rarely fills. Just watch him and the tape..you'll see. Am I missing something here?

I firmly beleive that position sizing huge. If we are "smart' about how and when we size up or down, realtive to our own strategy, we can handle the larger sizes. For me, position sizing is all about managing the risk. To each trader it means something different becasue we are trading...

You just gotta see it. If you can have a plan to adequately identify that your long is now a short then why not short it. Reversal of a position should agree your particular style of trading. Many seem to revenge trade so maybe it would be better for them if they only traded it once.
