Broker offering ability to write options against CFD positions

Hi, I've recently had it confirmed that a broker is offering the ability to write options against CFD positions. It is definitely available on US stock CFD's but I'm not sure about other markets. Unfortunately I don't know which broker is offering this! Anyone heard anything about which...

Trading EUR/USD Daily Hi & Lo

Sorry, an unhelpful post from me. What I meant to say was that you have roughly equal reversal points long and short. But atm the trend is down. Thus, make long reversal point further away. What do you think?

martingale betting vs scaling in vs average down

All of the methods you mention can work but only in skilled hands. There are many ways to skin a cat - find yours. I do have to agree with the other posters though that averaging down in the early stages of your career will almost certainly be fatal. bagg

    Beating the coming inflation

A very thoughtful post Makloda. However, you don't address the issue of "printing money" which I do believe will be attempted on a big scale. Surely this has to produce inflation? Appreciate your thoughts.

    Hedging real estate interest rate

Hi, I imagine this question has been asked before and I can find a few related threads but not quite what I'm looking for. I want to lock my interest rate (standard variable rate) on my house. I can get a fixed rate from the bank obviously but that is 2% higher than the variable rate and...

    AVERAGING down/up = success?

Ah, now there's some wisdom. Very pithy too, thunderdog. Averaging down is enticing for many but unless you have a parachute, you will go down in flames. Trading is all psychological once you have mastered the basic techniques. (But then what isn't?) I would NOT advise the OP to...

Using Long term puts to protect covered calls

Hi all, I'm a noob to options but a reasonably seasoned stock trader. Writing CC's appeals to my innate greed and I was wondering if anyone buys LEAP puts (or some other longish dated put) to try and protect in case of a bear market. If so, what do you find is the best way to use them -...

    Selling my system

I agree, people will look if you have something genuine to show them. However, the real trick is letting them look but protecting your intellectual property. Have you thought about this?

Unique thread you probably should read = about trading

Ok I'll bite. I presume you've discovered a way to trade that is profitable for you over time. Well done! I'm interested in broad terms about what you "discovered" and why you say the ES is particularly exploitable. Cheers, bagg
