    Forex Trading Statistics

I am writing an article on forex trading success statistics on my website. Most websites say 90% failure is a fact: http://seekingalpha.com/instablog/410749-daily-forex/26432-dispelling-the-myth-of-gambling-in-forex-trading...

    Inventory Grab Alert 4/30/09!

One outcome: big move coming. If you know how to use options, you can make money using that information alone.

    Inventory Grab Alert 4/30/09!

That's a huge multiday CD divergence with good sized short inventory...looks like there's going to be a nice move to the downside if 990 support breaks. Its also possible that there will be a huge move to the upside if the shorts bailout.

    Up we go again?

High 930s to low 940s look like a good entry zone, if the price pulls back to that level.

    Up we go again?

In Indian markets, I see that the institutional investors aren't participating in the upmove. Neither are they betting for a huge move downwards in the short term.

    Up we go again?

    1) Ms. Market is always right. You can agree or disagree with her. 2) Generally, market goes up, $VIX goes down and vice versa. Here's one idea on how to use $VIX. Use with caution at S/R levels...

    Up we go again?

Ivanovich, S/R is big enough reason for any trade. I made it clear that there was enough support all the way down to 850. I am not sure why you look for complicated analysis on each post...look at this thread and see your previous responses to my other threads...

No need...made my money. Just concerned that this forum doesn't allow meaningful discussion between traders.

    Up we go again?

I had posted a thread 3 days ago with the same title when ES was 871...got moved to Chit Chat and now deleted from ET. Not sure what qualifies for chit chat and what's trading...ES crossed 910+. Had a similar issue earlier when I said Indian NIFTY had made a top...got moved to chit chat as usual.

Knowing how far a trade can go

I take multiple factors into account before I set the target & make a trade (I trade only index futures): a) S/R b) Order flow(Bid/Ask Volume) c) Price action d) Volume e) Gut feel Based on the above I try to guess/predict the minimum price movement (in my favor, of course) before...

Knowing how far a trade can go

Of late, I tend to NOT put on a position unless I have an idea of how far the price can go...of course, this gets revised continuously after the trade is made. I have missed some good trading opportunities due to this compulsion. Do other successful traders on ET share the same trait? Thanks
