Well, it all depends what is your aim. It was range trading and it was quite obvious that we won't pass 140 and it didn't want to go down below 139.50. So from my perspective nothing happened, :-). If I take few ticks it won't make my daily p&l.

I had nice run as well. Equity is bullish and also currencies are still bullish-wise, I believe we may surpass 7k.

According to my hypothesis dax has a lot to catch and we may see 6800-7000. However, I feel it is going to be massacre later on ... when? god knows, I guess within june, like sell in may and buy after Halloween, :-).

ok, I was shorting DAX calls (6200, 6300, 6400) it worked well. I didn't follow the news for a while so I'm skewed that nothing happened. I do not mind see DAX again below 6k but I'd rather see it above 7k. Also, short eur/gbp worked well.

I made some profit going long 5855 closing 5865 but I didn't expect index to go below 5800 given that I closed my 5700 puts, :-(.

today, +1k I went short dow jones / dax spread y'day at various levels. I missed opportunity to close around 5790 in the morning. Closed dax at 5740-5750, dow 10960-80 later on. I feel it is quite dangerous go long/short straightaway.

yes, of course but I do not mind something like this either (in k): +4, -0.5, +0.5, +5, -2, -2, +5, 0, 0, 0 Ideally, if I had few mills I can sit on cash (3-4% return) and have 1-2M for trading (fun or extra cash). To make 10% per year consistently is possible, however, to make 100%...

I jumped in too early y'day, I admit that ,:-), I bought again below 5790 today morning and I cashed from 5875-5895. Either I start to make some reasonable money or I have to find a job ...

-crap, had to leave comp, could have taken profit at 6030-6040 but was stopped out, nevermind we are buying again, :-)
