I now trade the dax straight from the open, i used to leave the first hour till the cash equity open. I find the very first hour is a lot thinner so you have to have you're wits about you just a tad more but there is some good money to be made especially on the first 5 minutes

Yes the dax does move slower compared to the mini dow but then the tick value of the dax is 25 euros which i think works out roughly to $30 a tick whereas the tick value of the mini dow is only $5.

I usee TT pro for trading, CQG for charts and reuters for fundamentals
