Taking 410K to 4million by Year End 2010

I'm a prop trader in boston and i agree with ThePropTrader 110%..WTF are you talking about dude???? You NEVER EVER think about money when trading. You think about what you can LOSE first ..then what you can make. You must be new to the game..no worries. Just watch and learn.

Will series 7 greatly improve my chances of getting hired?

It won't really help. What you really need is the money, ie up-front equity, you need to put up when joining a prop-firm. Any prop firm will sponsor you as long as you have the money.

    Order execution systems:Echo vs Assent

I had been trading with echo for the last six months and thus used the sterling software. They have top notch service/support for traders but the sterling software, in hindsight, was mediocre. I joined Assent, LLC 2 weeks ago and will be trading out of their boston office. I have now had a...

What is your BEST preforming indicator

I use: 1) 5min, 15min & daily charts. Keep an eye on the moving averages. Specially the 100 & 200 MA on the daily chart. 2) Daily pivot points on the 5min chart. On the 15 or 30 min chart i use the daily AND weekly pivots points. On the daily chart I use the Monthly pivot points. 3)I...

I blew up , feels so bad

If you did some pivot point analysis you'd see that the WEEKLY R1 for DRYS was $4.81..it got near that level on 2/2 and again last week it was retested on 2/11 through 2/13. Don't worry cut your losses and realize that you got over emotional and probably overtraded. Just take it as a learning...

Falling Banks & Companies indicators of Massive catastrophe?

Talknet please don't take my previous response as a sign of disrespect. I admire and respect a trader with those kinds of returns--if i may ask how did you get into trading foreign currency & how long have you been doing it? Thanks

    EchoTrade or Hold Brothers

I just went to the T3 capital website and saw the video on Scott Redler---gotta admit this has been on the money. I'm in the process of joining echotrade, but i'll def keep them in mind. Does anyone know if they have remote traders? Do you need a Series 7 to trader with them?

Considering becoming a proprietary trader with Echotrade

I just opened my account with echo. They offer no training, my payout is 100%. I will be paying .005 in commissions and i'll be trading from home. So far they've been very very helpful. Gabrielle is awesome and their backoffice support is always around when you need them.

    EchoTrade or Hold Brothers

Don, If a trader is willing to trade remotely would your company be 1) willing to bring down the minimum to $5k? 2) Still give that trader access to all of Bright Trading's education tools? My rationale is that if a trader has his own set up at home--thus lowering the co.'s cost, this...

    EchoTrade or Hold Brothers

OK So i've spoken with both Hold Brothers, AKA Xerxes Trading LLC and EchoTrade. From what i gather these are some of the rates for both firms: EchoTrade --.005/share --till you're doing 15k-20k then it goes down to 4/10 of a penny --$365/Monthly data feed --100% payout --No...
