an ecn And IB isn't being considered here. They filter their tick data too much and you have to fork over a grand to buy Ninjatrader, instead of leasing it for $60 a month.

I want a ecn forex broker that works with Ninjatrader. Looks to me like I have a choice between MBT and PFG. Anyone have any experience with these two choices? Thanks

Thanks for the info folks. Sounds exactly like it was eight to ten years ago. It was insane getting quotes and fills even when I was calling the floor. I think I will pursure other strategies.

I am considering trading futures options spreads again (I did that about ten years ago). I was wondering if any of the firms have electronic quotes or do you still have to go to the floor to get bid/ask on spreads? Thanks (trading most markets except the stock indexes)

CMS has been very slow during high market volatility for me: ten minutes one time to know my fill. They do honor their stop losses well though. I would just never use them again during fundamental announcements.

Try MACD: 1,50,1 Use one as the first MA, 50 or whatever you want as the MA, and 1 and the smoothing average. Then draw a horizontal line at 0. Seems to be what you're looking for.

I am looking for a broker/dealer who has orders where I can enter the market on an entry stop and have a contingent trailing stop and contingent profit target (OCO). And I want these orders held on the broker/dealer's server; not my box. I haven't found anyone who offers this yet. Not...

In futures right before the figure everyone pulls their bids and offers so the spread could be 1 tick or 20. The depth of market gets very chaotic: unreadable to me.

If you have a small account (less than 25k) I would recommend trading the spot market. It is easier to adjust your position size. And trading with Oanda the spread is 1 1/2 pips on EURUSD: the same as futures (one tick spread + commission)

And Oanda widens the spread and has lots of slippage.

Try trading cable during the London session and I think you will prefer spot: especially if the market is volatile.

I like the program too and use it for backup. But it sure would be nice to be able to print charts right from QT.
