I will be receiving $75k in Canadian dollars that I need to convert to US dollars. Would it make sense to open a forex account to save money on the conversion?
My broker, Thinkorswim, does not accept Canadian currency. Is there a US forex broker that does?

TRO, I'm trying to automate as much of jjrvat's concept as I can. Does your digital compass let you know if the waves are making higher highs or lower low? I'm having difficulty visualizing that.

It looks to me like the book by dbphoenix is a 23 page excerpt of a book that is not free.
I just downloaded the dbphoenix ebook. It has the most unusual opening I've ever seen for a trading book:

I used TradeStation years ago and I found it easy to program. But now that they've changed how they do business I no longer want to use TS.
I tried Sierra Chart. It uses a C like programming language which I did not care for.
I'm assuming that TS uses what is called a high-level language...
I'm wondering if anyone has done a summarization of NTW31's method. I think there is some good stuff in this thread but I found it very hard to follow.
If I am trading a pair that does not contain $US such as EUR/JPY and my account is in US $, is my trade subject to US $ fluctuations during the time I am in the EUR/JPY trade? I don't understand what actually takes place if I put on a EUR/JPY trade.
