FXCM contest new record 1037.36% per montn

Sorry for my bad English :-( It's the same thing I was trying to say ;) Leverage is an obviously double blade edge, you multiply gains, ad you multiply losses ... Anyway, yes, he made profits. In a way I don't agree with, but he made them. PERIOD.

FXCM contest new record 1037.36% per montn

This is gamblig: no fear to loose the entire account. I think that if he has operated with $423,255.00 out of his pockets, the performance would have been 1.03736% :D Gabriele http://www.gabrielevivinetto.it

You said .... [B] Don't use stops, let your open position, aehm, your loss go ... [B] Great for all the shops around !!! [B] It's not the market, it's the provider .... where I've heard this ? ;) It's interesting to hear the opinions of a MM or an instituitional trader ...

Cable, I respect you opinions, and consider valuable your suggestions. I prefer to be a little, unknown but *free* fish in an ocean, than a little fish that get caught every time by its friendly MM ;)

    Your Broker Is Your Enemy?

ECNs *ARE* the real Forex marketplace, not the buket shops that use Metatrader. I totally agree. Search for "metatrader fraud" on google ... I think this is the BEST tip someone could give to you: DO NOT USE REAL MONEY !!! Spot is the best place to simulate: request a long term demo...

    Your Broker Is Your Enemy?

Yes, liquidity is a main reason for me. In regulated market you have to enqueue order to be filled. In Spot no. When you click "buy" you have bought, when you click "sell" you have sold (ok requotes may happen, but it is instantaneous...) The book you have with IB is related only to IB...

    Your Broker Is Your Enemy?

Spot is OTC, Future is regulated. Operationally, to tell something more specific, on Future you have a book and volume, on spot you haven't (at least meaningful values...). You can't trade future in the same way as spot. The liquidity of spot is not comparable to the one of future. They are...

    Your Broker Is Your Enemy?

Again, this has been deeply discussed. Spot is different from futures. If I want (need) to trade spot, is because i don't want to (I can't) trade futures. It's not "what is better than", is "what I want".
