    Topstep Funded Trader Withdrawals

On their site, it says that in 2020, $1,600,000 has been withdrawn by funded traders. New funded accounts in 2020: 3049. Let's assume that the $1,600,000 was withdrawn by those 3049 new accounts (I know it's not). That would mean that on average, each funded trader has withdrawn about $525...

    My Experiences with E2T

I have tried TopStep and it seems that their business model is more about failing traders and making money off of that, rather than trying to get them through. This was awhile ago though, so maybe things have changed? Not sure what the Swing Trading Micro contract is

    My Experiences with E2T

I agree that the trailing drawdown rule is an issue.

    My Experiences with E2T

Someone commented (and then deleted) that they allow traders to "overlever." Cool, McDonalds allows you to order and eat as much food as you want. It doesn't mean I go there every day and order 8 big macs and 4 mcflurries

    My Experiences with E2T

Not sure if I have posted about this before. Anyway, here is a high level overview of what I've gone through with Earn2Trade. I don't know exactly how many Gauntlets I went through, but it was a decent amount. I passed my first one last year (in the summer, IIRC). I was given a live account. I...

Updated List of Chicago Prop Firms

Can anyone provide insight into the current landscape of Chicago's prop trading firms? Interested in hearing a bit about each one, what their focus is, how difficult it is to get in, etc... Some that come to mind that I would like to learn more about: Allston Trading Valkyrie Trading Group One...

Anybody here with Great Point Capital?

GPC's prop arm was Tower Hill you fucking simpleton. Holy shit this isn't that complicated.

Anybody here with Great Point Capital?

Did I say it went by a different name? Show me where I said that. Did I say that Tower Hill become GPC? Show me where I said that. I know they were in the same office building because I was there. Did I say GPC isn't still around? Show me where I said that.

Anybody here with Great Point Capital?

It isn't false. The prop firm went by a different name and is no longer around. It was called Tower Hill Trading. Great Point is respectable. But Tower Hill is gone.

    TopStep "Funded Trader" trading rules

While I am not a huge fan of Topstep, I will say that I did get funded a couple of times with them.

    Earn 2 Trade the gauntlet

Just wanted to update my experience with E2T and Helios. After completing the Guantlet I was given a "live sim" account which is effectively a live account, but the trades are not actually executed as a way to reduce risk for Helios. I think a lot of people were going live and screwing up (as I...

    Earn 2 Trade the gauntlet

I haven't yet, but I believe they review accounts at the end of each month. I am positive but I still feel like I am getting my footing, so I don't expect nor need an increase in account size. Will keep you updated here though.

    Earn 2 Trade the gauntlet

Avoid TST. I have done more than a few combines with them and earned a few live accounts. It is very clear that TST seeks to make money off of their combine fees and has very little interest in seeing traders actually succeed. I have had the opposite experience with Earn2Trade. I have gone...

Anybody here with Great Point Capital?

I traded for their prop arm before they shut it down. I sat next to a bunch of GPC guys and we had the same risk manager. I liked the RM, he was competent. There were some very, very good traders on their floor when I was there. What did you wanna know?

    Earn 2 Trade the gauntlet

Best of luck. So far I am satisfied with my experience. Like I said, I was given a live account and it was easy to get going with it (with TST it was a much bigger hassle. You have to get a license for NinjaTrader and pay out of pocket for your data feed). With Earn2Trade I was simply given a...

    Earn 2 Trade the gauntlet

Just in case anyone is interested, this has been my experience with Earn2Trade so far: I passed my 60 day gauntlet with a 10% return. I was offered $25,000 and I accepted. I am currently just waiting for the account to be set up. The staff at E2T that I have interacted with has been really...

    Practicing mindfulness & meditation

thats funny, because i know a lot of them, and most failed to make the transition to the screen and spend their days drinking at ceres, tutos, or some other local place where miserable people hang out. the few chicago pit traders who i do know, that made it, kept their money and lives intact...

Traders You Know Who Are Doing It Right

I am interested to hear what kind of traders you know that are trading and making some good money. What markets, what time frames, how much return, what kind of trading strategy? One I will mention trades across a bunch of different futures markets. He doesn't use charts but rather trades...
