    LLC firms that ask for deposit from the public are not regulated and have no license to have such a business. SEC is investigating them it's a buyer beware at this time. no recourse if firm close shop. they aren't regulated like brokers and banks.

    a broker/financial advisor has clients and clients pay premium commissions for trades and advice. A trader just trades for profit and has no clients.

    I guess if you are doing inside trading or any front running , you don't want the data are trade to be made public. These dark pools are transactions maybe outside of SEC jurisdiction. I may be wrong. These are public companies so all transactions need to be made public.

    it doesn't work that way. it's margin calls that is usually why it's liquidated. market makers can short naked if they want and some brokers increase their margins intra-day an overnight and can change it.

    $25,000 is more than enough if you are just 'daytrading' professionals prop traders only have $5000 deposit or $10,000 if you have 10:1 20:1 intra-day leverage.

    never hear of them till the sponsor or ad here. there aren't that many reputabl prop trading firms that let you trade without any rules or require a $5000 CASH deposit. bright trading requires a $25,000 CASH deposit whicgh is too much just to daytrade and deposit into a somebody private...

    prop trading is the only way to go if you don't have $10,000 CASH or $25,000 CASH to deposit to the RETAIL BROKER. Other than that forex. you'll at least $5000 or $10,000 preferred for draw downs to trade futures to make it worth your time. Prop firms wouldn't need to aks for $5000...
