How can he short an illiquid stock like that under $5? To my knowledge no broker would allow anyone to short stocks trading under $5. Even if it was shortable at the time, how many shares could he get off? The stock only traded a few thousand shares a day. Something is not right in this story.

I agree with the other guys who said build it yourself. www.tigerdirect.com has many parts with quick shipping. Motherboards, video cards, monitors, whatever you need. If you build it yourself, trouble shooting is a breeze because you know the machine inside out. cp

Go into Control Panel (from Settings) Click Internet Options Then click the Advanced column See what you have checked on that list. Play around with some of the options there. My guess is that your problem lies with one of the options on that list.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I'm surprised no one mentioned Scottrade Streamer, which is free. All you have to do is sign up at their website. Live streaming quotes and a live chart. Only problem is the periodic outages, and log-on difficulty at times.
