What lies? Can you give some examples?

It is no longer "We the People"

Call it what you will. The most important word you need to focus on in my post is freedom.

It is no longer "We the People"

Well said. We do have an excellent country. The problem I am pointing out, however, is that the media can and does skew the truth in favor of their bias.

It is no longer "We the People"

I agree. The scary part about this is that they are so blinded by their agenda that they don't give thought to the consequences.

Great sources: Yahoo and TPM. No bias there? You are helping to prove my point.

It is no longer "We the People"

The point that I am trying to make is that to truly love our country you have to love democracy. Democracy is a cornerstone for our freedom. If the media skews the truth with bias and ultimately persuades the vote, then it is no longer "we the people" that put our elected officials in office...

    No problem.

It is no longer "We the People"

Yes, I have heard that. Are you repeating that because you know that to be factually true? Or, you never watch FOX, and you are just repeating what the media wants you to think?

It is no longer "We the People"

I'm sure there has always been some degree of bias, but I can not remember it ever being like it is now.

Majority of voters believe Obama has changed country for worse

It might not be simple for you but it is very clear and simple to me. I don't ever remember the division being in America as it is today. This is an issue that is far more disturbing than the economy to me. Another 4 years of what we have seen for the past 3 ½ years and I don’t think we...

    penalties are not taxes

Mav, I felt I needed to make it clear that I agree with the post I quoted from you when I responded to this thread earlier. I don't, however, agree with or appreciate some of the language you use, especially in the opening sentences of this thread. I respect your right to express yourself...

    penalties are not taxes

Hey Mav, Thanks for posting; I totally agree. Since the ruling of the SCOTUS on the ACA, the thought occured to me that something is not quite right about the ruling. The law was ruled upon in a different form than what was voted upon by congress; and, more importantly, what was told to...

What CNBC does is almost corrupt.

Your kidding-- You are still watching them? I switched to FOX at the beginning of the year and have not looked back-- best thing I could have done. Some of the good reporters that left CNBC are at FOX now. Check it out.

Obama: Get On This Problem Now

"They oughta' have a tracta traila out back"-- that is just too funny. I can't stop laughing!:D

Is it time to buy a house?

I am considering buying a house. The interest rates are at record lows and housing prices have dropped a lot. I know we have a few real estate experts on ET and was wondering what some of you think about it. Is it a good time to buy or do you see another leg down? Thanks for your response...

G.Bush ranked 36th out of the 42 Presidents

The dot com boom was part of Clinton's so called success-- Bush didn't cause it. It got way out of hand prior to Bush taking office. The interest rates were the sole product of Greenspan-- he left them too low too long. Oh, yea, don't forget that Clinton had the chance to take Bin Laden...
