Will the markets sell off after November 7, 2006?

It is this diversity of opinions that makes a market. If you think the market will dive after the elections than go short, if you think the election news will rally the market go long, as long as it is part of your normal trading pattern to predicate market reaction on political events. I am...

    TradeStation data problems...

I saw the same laggy--nish today. I always assume it is me. TS is usually pretty good. Maybe we should organize our own alert system amongst the TS users?

Time to Buy Stem cell Stocks if The DEMS win!

I like the thinking, but if they win won't it only be a razor thin margin that won't pass the potus veto? I think this guy has only vetoed one bill so far, and that has been the stem cell stuff. Maybe we should wait 2 more years.

The trade deficit is an obsolete way of measuring international trade. With a globalized world the numbers are almost meaningless. As an example, AMD chips are built outside the US (Taiwan) shipped to China to be integrated into motherboards and then build into notebooks in japan and shipped...

    Bandwidth, how much is enough?

You have enough bandwidth to watch cnbc and cnn video streams along with all your trading. BTW: My favorite test site to test my current pipe bandwidth is: http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ they have sites across the US, so you can find the source of your lags.
