Ya, TDA futures comm is absurd. The RTs I do wouldn't be achievable on TDA. I busted my ass to get to a point where I'm on a commission free plan through my broker while leasing a seat on CME so my RTs are less than $1. SPX, NDX seems doable on TDA for longer term stuff. I'll check them out.

Had something similar happen to me with IB a few years ago, and then again with TradeStation. Always on the prowl for a stable broker/platform. Never comfortable.

Why do you prefer IB over TDA? I'm at Stage 5 for futures, need to pick a broker for options. TOS platform is far superior but I'm assuming you use IB for lower comm and interest on margin?
