I noticed some employers require you have experience in programming. What do you think is a general programming language useful for a trader?

University of Illinois at Chicago and my GPA is 2.87, low I know but my first 2 years I didnt really give a crap about school. When I went back in, it was kind of hard to raise the gpa after taking a lot of classes.

And I have no clue where to start looking for a trading job. I will be graduating in December with a Bachelor's in Finance, and trading is what really interests me. Any tips of where I can start looking? The only experience I have is just trading on my own accounts.
