Does this take into account whether the 200 is sloping in direction of trade or not?

If you look close in early dec price closes above the 200 and the 200 actually slightly slopes up. I believe in KISS but there are of course filters that need to be used in addition.

This is incorrect, which is where you are wrongly assuming that both a long and a short could not produce 2 losers. In other words, trader A could go long and trader B could go be short at the same time yet both traders can indeed lose. You need to look more into trade and risk management.

A lot of un experienced traders would have no idea and why should they. And a lot of experienced traders probably didn't care or want to come across as an a**hole, and take some heat for it. Desterio took heat, even though he was right. I don't think it says that much.

Why would someone waste their time doing this even? What was she looking to get out of all of this. That's what confuses me the most.

I agree with what you are saying, but decreasing TF doesn't necessarily make it out to be actually "in miniature". It could be from a bar range standpoint the same/similar movement but it took different TF's to achieve that same range. Either you have to change your stops/targets or the TFs, imo.

Why do you say this? Curious. Have you traded both ways?

Not as much what time frame to use, but I'm trying to figure out when/how to adjust the time frame. I know what "area" of time frame to trade in, but am more trying to focus on when to adjust it slightly based on recent volatility.
