I can see many reasons in this thread alone why people would leave. The thread is supposed to be about a guy checking out Al Brooks' books and reporting back on the results. I wonder if there is any chance to take bickering to another forum thread , and leave this one to be what it was intended...

I have heard good things from people using simpleroptions.com trade rooms. I have not been in the rooms myself so can't say. I am told John Carter shows his trades as he takes them, many are options swings, but they do futures as well.

I have read through a fair amount of the books, and watched a lot of the course, but BOB is not familiar. There is a list of terms at the beginning of the book and this is not within them.

totally agree. The other thing I wish it would somehow do, is explain it without seeing the whole chart first. Seeing the entry bar, explaining the situation, and then showing the result. Many times it is a too vague to use in a real time situation. Some of the stuff he points out as reasons can...

I am following along, currently reading the first book on trends and have watched several videos. I am intrigued by his seemingly excellent understanding of how the different players affect the markets by reading the bars and how they interact on the chart.

What do you mean by having to make 8 a year to BE. I understand that 2 is 8% of 25, but I don't understand how this fits in to being BE on the year. Doesn't win/loss ratio and R:R heavily impact the significance of the losses as well? It is probably very obvious, but I am somehow missing it.

As to "buying the dip" for only those who cashed out, I would also say that this is the many people putting aside each paycheck and buying. I don't care if the market went up, down , or sideways each 2 weeks, I put x% of my paycheck into my diversified portfolio. i am sure it could be argued...
